Sniffer dogs to wear ‘Muslim’ bootees

Police sniffer dogs will have to wear bootees when searching the homes of Muslims so as not to cause offence.

Guidelines being drawn up by the Association of Chief Police Officers (Acpo) urge awareness of religious sensitivities when using dogs to search for drugs and explosives. The guidelines, to be published this year, were designed to cover mosques but have been extended to include other buildings.

Where Muslims object, officers will be obliged to use sniffer dogs only in exceptional cases. Where dogs are used, they will have to wear bootees with rubber soles. “We are trying to ensure that police forces are aware of sensitivities that people can have with the dogs to make sure they are not going against any religious or cultural element within people’s homes. It is being addressed and forces are working towards doing it,” Acpo said.

Ibrahim Mogra, one of Britain’s leading imams, said the measures were unnecessary: “In Islamic law the dog is not regarded as impure, only its saliva is. Most Islamic schools of law agree on that. If security measures require to send a dog into a house, then it has to be done. I think Acpo needs to consult better and more widely.

“I know in the Muslim community there is a hang-up against dogs, but this is cultural. Also, we know the British like dogs; we Muslims should do our bit to change our attitudes.”

John Midgley, co-founder of the Campaign Against Political Correctness, said: “The police are in effect being overly sensitive to potential criminals and not being sensitive enough to the public at large who need to be protected. These sort of things have a counter-productive effect because they cause huge friction between different communities.” […]

This isn’t the first time that the dhimmis have out-Muslimed the Muslims — to the objection of at least one Muslim. Recall this item from March:

British Muslim leader accuses police of being ‘over cautious’ in stopping Asian gangs pimping white girls :

A [M]uslim leader has accused the police of failing to tackle Asian gangs suspected of prostituting young white girls…Mohammed Shafiq, director of the Ramadhan Foundation…claimed, driven by fear of race riots in places like Blackburn and Oldham, officers were “overtly sensitive” and not clamping down on the sordid practice.

“I think the police are overcautious on dealing with this issue openly because they fear being branded racist and I think that is wrong…These are criminals they should be treated as criminals. They are not Asian criminals, they are not Muslim criminals, they are not white criminals…I am the only Muslim leader in the UK that speaks up against this sort of thing and I do it because these teenage girls are somebody’s sisters and they are somebody’s daughters. I have got two daughters and I wouldn’t want that to happen to my daughters. If there is a drug dealer grooming a white teenager into prostitution then I don’t want the police service or local authority not to be open about it.”

In Kosovo, meanwhile, U.S.- and German-led NATO has helped the Albanian Muslims cleanse just about all the Christians (except the ones in the last remaining Serbian stronghold of Northern Mitrovica — which we’ll be beating into submission to Muslim-Albanian rule in a few weeks). Specifically, recall the story of how German NATO were placing yellow crosses on the homes of the remaining Serbs in Albanian-dominated areas. This way, the Albanians knew which homes to firebomb or harass until the occupants left:

Early next morning we went in German KFOR jeeps to visit the nearby village of Mushnikovo [in Zupa valley]…I noticed that the doors of the surrounding houses had yellow markers on them. On some houses it looked like an X, on others it looked like a cross. I asked the German soldiers what these yellow crosses were doing on these doors. I received an answer I could scarcely believe. The young soldier, whom I later photographed, informed me that these were used to denote that Serbs lived in these houses. He said that people had to know which houses were inhabited by Serbs. I wondered why? So I then said to him. “You mean that you are highlighting the fact the Serbs are living in these houses by putting yellow crosses on their doors”. He nodded. I could hardly believe what I was hearing. The previous night the church and the house across from the church had been attacked by rocket propelled grenades and here was German KFOR marking out the houses which were later attacked by extremists. This seemed incomprehensible to me. I pointed out that they were denoting the religious affiliation of these people and outlining the fact that these were Christians in a predominantly Muslim village. I pointed out to the soldier that this was not the first time in their history that the German army had put markers on the doors of people perceived as unter-menschen.

Shortly afterwards, a German army officer came and asked me what my problem was. I pointed out that I was not the one with the problem. He explained that the reason that the yellow crosses were on the doors of the houses [was] that these houses had been searched for weapons and unexploded ordinance and were deemed “free’ of weapons. It was then that I really began to wonder if these people in charge really knew what they were doing. The Muslims, both Slavs and Albanians, in the village had no such markers on their houses. They had complete freedom to travel wherever they liked throughout Kosovo and harass and intimidate innocent members of other communities. The Serbs in the village had no such freedom of movement. I was aware that the Serbs and Roma and others were being cleared out of their villages and towns all around Kosovo and I wondered what information the KFOR soldiers on the ground were receiving from the NATO high command. Were they still being fed the propaganda that the few remaining elderly Christian Serbs were the enemy or were the threat?

Finally, who can forget this classic: Don’t Stare At Muslims Says Advice To Schools

Pupils and teachers have been told by an official body not to stare at Muslims for fear of causing offence.

A document intended to educate against religious intolerance and sectarianism urges teachers to “make pupils aware of the various forms of Islamophobia, ie stares, verbal abuse, physical abuse”.

But Learning Teaching Scotland (LTS), which issued the advice to schools north of the border, has been criticised by politicians and Muslim leaders for going “over the top”.

The document states: “Some Muslims may choose to wear clothing or display their faith in a way that makes them visible. For example, women may be wearing a headscarf, and men might be wearing a skullcap. Staring or looking is a form of discrimination as it makes the other person feel uncomfortable, or as though they are not normal.”

Osama Saeed, a spokesman for the Muslim Association of Britain, accused officials of going too far. “There are far more serious elements of Islamophobia. People look at all sorts of things — that can just be a glance. A glance and a stare are two different things — glances happen naturally when all sorts of things catch your eye whereas a stare is probably gawking at something. Personally I have not encountered much of a problem with people staring. I don’t know how you legislate for that.”

Below are some of the cleverest comments appearing under this item at the time, from various news sites — indicating that the most fertile resistance to the Left-assisted Islamic takeover is on the anonymous chat boards, the only place where relevant comedy is to be found:

how come you [ran] over this muslim person?
I was taught it was impolite to stare so I looked away, and i missed seeing him crossing the road.

So, staring “is a form of discrimination as it makes the other person feel uncomfortable”.

Non muslims feel extremely uncomfortable in the presence of people wearing niqabs, especially at airports and the like. That would make wearing a niqab discrimination against non muslims then, would it?

Do not deny Iran nuclear weapons, because this might cause offense.

Do not capture bin Laden, because this might cause offense.

Do not stop just retribution by the faithful, because this would cause offense.

Do not oppose anything that is the will of Allah, because this is an offense.

Submit, keep your eyes downcast, do not raise you arm or hand to a Muslim, wear headcovering if a woman, comport yourself as Islam commands you will.

Do not stay in Britain unless you submit to Islam because this might cause offense.

Do not criticize public television shows on moderate Islam.

Do not criticize immigration on Comment is Free at Guardian UK, because then you will be banned…

To avoid being bitten by a muslim, remember some basic hints. And parents, remind your children!
Be a tree! Stand still. Cross your hands in front of your chest. Don’t run or yell.
Don’t stare right at a muslim who comes up to you. Watch him out of the corner of your eye.
If a muslim chases you, stop. Don’t scream.(CAIR might sue you) just walk away slowly backwards.
If a muslim chases you on your bike, stop, get off your bike, and put your bike between you and the muslim.
Be careful going up to muslims you don’t know. Not all muslims are friendly.
If you have permission to speak to someone else’s muslim, don’t run up to him or grab him. Walk up slowly and quietly and let the muslim sniff your hand first. Then pet the muslim gently under the chin.
Don’t treat a strange muslim like your own–your own muslim may permit you to do things that frighten or anger a muslim who doesn’t know you.
Don’t play rough with any muslim.
If a muslim growls at you, or if it moves away, don’t chase after him.
Don’t frighten or startle a muslim especially when it’s sleeping.
Don’t try to take a toy or food away from a muslim..
Don’t try to pet a muslim through a fence, car window, or cage.
Don’t try to punish a muslim. Never hit at one.

Isn’t being non-Muslim now a form of Islamophobia? After all any sane person would convert if they knew who Allah was, thus those who do not convert are Islamophobic. Poor souls.

One of the Dhimmi regulations forbids the Jews and Christians to look directly at a Muslim. When in the prescence of a muslim, an infidel must assume an attitude of humility and keep his eyes down cast. [Indeed, in one of Bat Y’eor’s books she mentions an application of sharia law in at least one African country, reading to the effect that the dhimmis “should feel themselves subdued”.]

Next year we will hear standing aside for them, not owning a car that raises you higher than a muslim driver not wearing yellow shoes for those are only for muslims etc etc etc.

And the feminazis are leading the indigenious Brits down this path.

Years ago, “Sir” Trevor Phillips and his race relations council established the first rule of Dhimmitude:

When attacked or physically chastised by a muslim, an infidel may not defend himself. He is however, permitted to plead for mercy…

I think the whole thing about not staring also applys to chimps, large predators and Italians. It is quite dangerous to stare at some creatures because they might consider it a challeng[e] and attack. Maybe Muslims should take a lesson from the Italians and just learn the phrase WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT.It might prevent much bloodshed. These days most people just consider it to be rude.

Muslims expect way too much respect. In any culture, including western society, there are unwritten rules of conduct that must be adhered to. As a man, I could wear a skirt, nylons, and high heels to work if I wanted to. I couldn’t be arrested. But could I honestly complain if people gave me funny looks, made snide remarks, and passed me up for promotions? Of course not! Just as it’s not acceptable in western society for men to wear dresses (at least in public), so is it not acceptable for women to wear chadors, hijabs, etc. If people violate societal norms, then it’s only natural that other people will stare at them. It’s all about sticking out like a sore thumb. If Muslims don’t like that reaction, then perhaps they should integrate into western society and adopt the fashions deemed acceptable in our culture. But I guess that’s a pipe dream, right?

I not only stare but usually make bizzare faces at them or ask embrassing questions, such as why do you always mention the 72 virgins but not the 28 pre-teen boys that come along with the package?

Apparently now all non-Muslims are directed to gouge their own eyes out to prevent accidental looking. Isn’t it curious how the majority is required to change to accommodate the minority? Just like the [soon to be former] U.S.

Somehow I’m thinking that’s not what the founders of democratic countries had in mind.

“The poll also found that 74% of Muslims believe they are loyal to Britain and 78% of Muslims said they had confidence in Britain’s police force — a higher proportion than the rest of the population.

The survey shows 67% of Muslims have confidence in the judicial system and 73% believe in the British democratic process. This compares with 55% and 60% respectively among the general public.”

It’s no more surprising that the real Brits are losing confidence in a government and judiciary that is betraying them than it is to find Muslims showing strong support for a government and judiciary laying out the red carpet for them.

I have seen Muslims in traditional clothing on the London underground saying prayers from the Koran, their mouths moving, the book in front of them, their heads bobbing back and forward, with a backpack at their feet. I watched closely (this was after both bombing incidents in London in 2005 so it was ‘insensitive’ of them, not of me as a good citizen) and WANTED them to feel uncomfortable. I changed trains next stop. I have seen similar behaviour in the streets of Paris. Stare at them the way their men stare at immodest western women.

Im thinking of starting to wear one of those horned Viking helmets around to “celebrate my heritage”. Ok, that may be a bit heavy as well as making it hard to get into my car, but seriously, if I did that I expect somebody would stare.

Interesting this one.

When I lived in London I was always struck by the way in which muslims would stare at people. In particular in the waiting room of my doctors surgery I was often annoyed by the muslim patients staring at me, often through the slit in a burqua.

I dont recall anyone telling them to stop.

Anyone who has travelled abroad will know that in muslim countries people do not have our manners and insolently stare at others. Why then can we not stare at them?

We’re not supposed to see them? If we don’t, we’re accused of being rude. What are our options other than seeing them or not seeing them?
