When the cameras were interested in it, so was she. But the cameras moved on, and so did she.

Reader Alex sent me a spot-on June 19th article by Coulter, about Ted Kennedy’s dream of importing the entire third world to America so as to change the electorate and have the Democrats win all the elections. But he highlighted a predictably problematic part, where Coulter exhibits uncharacteristic symptoms of being, well, typical:

Well, of course the government is spying on Americans! Look at the havoc caused by American citizens engaging in terrorism.

There’s “American citizen” David Coleman Headley, who conspired with Pakistani military officers to commit the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, that left more than 160 people dead.

Then there were the six “New Jersey men” who plotted a terrorist attack on the Fort Dix military base in 2007. Using rocket-propelled grenade launchers, they estimated they could kill at least 100 soldiers.

Chris Christie, then the U.S. attorney for New Jersey, said surveillance tapes showed the men watching videos of Americans being killed in Afghanistan.

“(T)hey watched the blowing off of the arm of a United States Marine and the room burst out into laughter,” Christie said. “These are the types of people we are dealing with.”

The New Jersey men were named Mohamad Shnewer, Serdar Tatar, Agron Abdullahu, Dritan Duka, Eljvir Duka and Shain Duka. Four were from the former Yugoslavia, one was from Turkey and one was from Jordan. All were illegal aliens. […]

Well, no, they weren’t. Unless she’s working from updated information, Tatar was a legal permanent resident, and Shnewer was a naturalized citizen. And Abdullahu came here as a poor little refugee of the Clintons’ vanity war, despite having been a sniper in it. But that’s not the big problem here. The big problem is Coulter falling for the “former Yugoslavia” euphemism, adopting that term from the MSM and bureaucratic officialdom which conceived it and which she otherwise ridicules.

For someone who likes to take shots, she sure missed a big one, given that the ALBANIANS — which is what the Dukas and Adullahu are — were the people on whose behalf her onetime favorite target, Bill Clinton, waged war against Christians. And the New Jersey plot is partially blowback from Clinton’s backwards war. Considering that the Democrats still lie about the character of, and reasons for, that war and successfully score political points, one would think Coulter might have figured out by now how to use it against them. Then again, it is the Balkans. And Coulter is American. So the Balkan hemisphere of her brain looks no different from Snookie’s.
