On Nov. 21st, London Mayor Ken Livingstone launched an “Islam Awareness Week.”

But I’m sure that since July 7th, Londoners are very well aware, thank you–and probably already make sure to eye every passing Muslim for belt bombs and the like.

This is almost as good a response to terror as the recommendations made to the British government by committees that Tony Blair set up in the wake of 7/7 to tackle extremism. The first recommendation? Scrap Holocaust Memorial Day. Because it’s exclusionary, and therefore fuels extremists’ sense of alienation. In other words, Muslims attack, but it’s still because of the Jews.
