One summer item that I’d meant to get to, since it’s a follow-up to a blog post I had in December, concerns a Bosnian-Muslim cocktail waitress in England:

£3,000 for Muslim cocktail waitress who had to work in ’sexy’ dress (but who didn’t mind appearing on Facebook wearing a skimpy top)

Revealing: Fata Lemes on Facebook

A Muslim cocktail waitress who quit after refusing to wear a ‘sexy’ dress has won almost £3,000 in compensation for sexual harassment.

A tribunal accepted that Fata Lemes genuinely believed that the short, lowcut red dress was ‘disgusting’ and made her look ‘like a prostitute’.

But the panel rejected her claim that it was ‘sexually revealing and indecent’.

Her compensation claim of £20,000 – including £17,500 for hurt feelings – was branded ‘manifestly absurd’.

Miss Lemes told London Central Employment Tribunal that she ‘might as well be naked’ in the dress, adding: ‘I was brought up a Muslim and am not used to wearing sexually attractive clothes.’

However, a photo on the Facebook social networking site shows her wearing a lowcut T-shirt.

She was awarded £2,919.95 for hurt feelings and loss of earnings. It is not known whether the panel saw the Facebook photo before making their judgment. The tribunal panel ruled that bosses at Rocket bar and restaurant in Mayfair should have made allowance for her feelings and their insistence that she wear the dress amounted to sexual harassment.

It concluded that the Bosnian Muslim ‘holds views about modesty and decency which some might think unusual in Britain in the 21st century’.

However, it found that Miss Lemes, 33, ‘overstated’ her trauma at being asked to wear the sleeveless dress.
Her claim that she was left with no choice but to walk out of her job at the bar after only eight days was rejected by the panel.

Miss Lemes, of Camden, North London, was also judged to have overstated the injury to her feelings.
‘We do not accept that it was reasonable for her to decide, as she told us she had done, not to consider any form of waitressing again,’ the panel said.

‘Her sincere feelings about being required to wear a red dress when working in a Mayfair bar could not reasonably have caused her to rule out employment in, for example, a cafe or fast-food restaurant.’

The company failed to pay Miss Lemes for her shifts but handed over £255 during the hearing at the suggestion of the tribunal panel.

Ian Brockwell writing for NewsBlaze.com made a few good points at the time:

Considering Muslim’s [sic] object to alcohol on religious grounds, what was she doing in a job like that in the first place? Whilst it is true that the “objection” is to drinking alcohol, almost 2 years ago the Muslim checkout staff at Sainsbury’s refused to even sell it to customers!

Although applicants should mention such objections before they accept the job, Sainsbury’s said “it was keen to accommodate the religious beliefs of all staff”…

Apparently, even though the sensitive Fata Lemes said “I was brought up Muslim and am not used to wearing sexually attractive clothes[,” she] was photographed…wearing a “skimpy outfit”…

Maybe her religious beliefs are just as fashionable as the clothes she wears and the places where she works?

The main point: Bosnian Muslims, like the rest of their brethren Muslims, are slick operators. Wily. Underhanded. And yet it is the Fata Lemeses of the world whose word we took on Srebrenica.

Lemes is a whore with her “beliefs,” just as the Bosnians whored out the Holocaust for Srebrenica and cheapened the word “genocide.”

As Robert Spencer pointed out at the time regarding Lemes’s claims of offense — and this applies to the claims of Srebrenica as well: It’s all just about intimidating the dhimmis — and you can do that whether you eat pork, drink alcohol and wear tight jeans, or not.

Bosnian “secularism” at work.

Got this from Atlas Shrugs:

Muslim waitress sues over ’sexy’ dress code

LONDON (AFP) — A Bosnian Muslim waitress has demanded compensation from the London bar where she worked over a red dress she was asked to wear, British media reported Thursday.

Fata Lemes, 33, told an employment tribunal that she felt forced to wear the sleeveless dress with a low neckline and an open back, thought the Rocket bar was run like a “sex club” and filed for 20,000 pounds in compensation.

Lemes described the dress as “physically revealing and openly sexual,” according to the Daily Telegraph.

“It was indecent. If you put this dress on you might as well be naked. I did not want men looking at my body,” the newspaper quoted her as saying.

“I was brought up a Muslim, and am not used to wearing sexually attractive clothes.”

According to reports, Lemes said she originally began working at the bar in May wearing loose-fitting black clothes to work, but after about a week, she was told to wear the red dress.

After trying it on, she refused to wear it, and said she was immediately fired.

Spring and Greene, the restaurant group that owns the Rocket bar, rejected the claims, however, and said the dress had been chosen by two other waitresses to give a “summery” look.

The company also reportedly produced a photograph of the dress, worn by another waitress, with the Rocket’s manager arguing that the colour of the dress was chosen to match that of the bar.

The employment tribunal is expected to deliver its judgment on the case next year.

So she was raised Muslim in Bosnia after all. This goes part and parcel with the way that we convinced ourselves these weren’t like “those Muslims” and therefore could be sided with against Christians (hey, they drink alcohol and eat pork! we were told). Except when it came time to count the supposed 60,000 Bosnian-Muslim women raped by Serbs, we ended up with a couple hundred documented cases — fewer than the 800 documented Serb women raped by Muslim and Croatian soldiers. How come? Well you see, said our entirely aligned government-media complex at the time, as Muslims it’s shameful to be raped, and so that’s why few women came forward. Of course, lying to the infidel about the whole thing to begin with is a sacred rite whether a Muslim is wearing a shmata or jeans, or a shmata and jeans.

Let’s review: when it’s convenient, Balki isn’t Muslimy. And when it’s convenient, Balki is a proud Muslim indeed. For world image purposes, or when Balki wants Western assistance against his Christian enemies, Balki is a “Western, secular, non-religious, tolerant” kind of not-really-Muslim Muslim. But when Balki has a beef with the West, or inevitably wants to turn on it altogether, lo and behold! Balki is Muslim after all.

Please note that even Muslims partaking of alcohol and pork are Muslim enough to stage an atrocity. See Bosnia and Kosovo.
